Garden gate

Arched garden gate. Framed, ledged and braced construction.

Curved work is no problem to former yachtbuilders!

Fitted kitchen

Here is an example of a kitchen we have recently completed.  Worktops are in Corian.

The original kitchen had tiled walls, but the clients wanted Corian upstands, brushed stainless steel hob splashback and painted walls for their new kitchen.  Garman & Priestley were able to offer the complete all in one service: skimming the walls once the tiles were removed, skimming the ceiling to replace the existing artex finish, re-coving, and then redecorating.  The hob splashback was also fabricated for us to be an exact fit for the location.

Generator air filter

Another example of how varied our work is can be seen below.  Our client had a problem with dust and debris being drawn into a large generator, meaning frequent servicing of the air filters.   Our solution was a pre-filter, with removable fine-mesh panels that can be easily removed for cleaning. All the timber construction in the picture was custom made on site to fit around the existing generator housing and access steps.

The generator (a Cat turbocharged V16) runs on methane gas from the nearby waste disposal site, and converts it into electricity which is then supplied to the national grid.  A rather different project from our more usual kitchen and bathroom installations!
